ABOUT EDI

The EDI Committee is a student-run committee that works closely with the school staff to provide a better environment for our students during their time here at UNMC. As peers, we hope our platform can achieve more transparent feedback for the betterment of our school's community.

We may relay your comments or reports, or provide resources and signposts for your needs.

OUR TEAMS

Mobility Team

The team that began our EDI! Initiated after experiencing an exchange to UNUK, this consultative team aims to help other students who may be curious about the exchange program, or feeling lost while preparing. We work closely with not only the Mobility Directors of the Nottingham tricampus, but we also have a network of exchanged alumni!

For outgoing students (exchanging from UNMC), our network of exchanged alumni (Exchangelings) are here to answer your questions to help you prepare.

For incoming students (exchanging to UNMC), we have your seniors and alumni as well in our network, alongside our own local team members who can answer your question about life in UNMC.

Inclusion Team

The Inclusion team handles the community's wellbeing within our school campus environment. This team aims to ensure everyone's equal inclusion in diversity, and eradicate discrimination.

This team involves relaying to staff any comments, feedback and/or reports, promoting awareness with events, and nurturing a welcoming environment for students of all kinds (including exchange students).
